Inshore Vs. Offshore Fishing Basics
Most anglers enjoy various forms of fishing ranging from tossing jigs for striped bass to trolling for tuna, and many would agree that center console fishing boats are ideal for such endeavors. But when it comes to inshore fishing vs. offshore fishing, the boats that are ideal for each can be quite different.
Know what different fishing boats are used for
Inshore fishing boats prioritize accessories like livewells and casting decks, which are ideal for styles of fishing like live-baiting and casting to structure. Offshore fishing boats, on the other hand, are more likely to put an emphasis on things like cockpit rigging stations and outriggers, which are needed for trolling in the blue water environment.
