The Bayliner Element is one of our most affordable and popular models, with nimble handling and decent performance from the base 75hp on the E16 to the 115hp on the E18, it is sure to get you where you need to go.

For more hardcore performance, the Bayliner VR5 has a deep-V hull design that is powered by a 200hp engine with an option to upgrade to 250hp. It has excellent acceleration and razor-sharp handling for navigating rough water.

On the more luxurious end, the Bayliner Pilothouse Series boats come equipped with engines as powerful as the Mercury Verado 300hp outboard. Despite their size, an advanced hull design provides responsive steering and control.

    Features

When deciding on a Bayliner model, consider which features are essential for your intended use and which are nice extras.

    Cabins and Storage

Some Bayliner models have cabins below deck that provide shelter and allow for overnight stays. Larger models in the Bayliner Pilothouse and Explorer Series offer spacious cabins with private staterooms, convertible dinettes, galleys and head compartments.

For day trips, bowrider and deck boat models offer open layouts with storage under seats. Look for models with lockable storage compartments to safely stow belongings. Some models also have storage nets for extra gear capacity.

    Entertainment Systems

Higher-end Bayliner boat models offer options like entertainment systems with high-end stereos and Bluetooth connectivity. More affordable models may have basic stereo systems with auxiliary audio inputs.

Having Bluetooth allows you to stream music directly from your phone. Some models also offer charging stations to keep devices powered up.

    Essential Features

Every Bayliner comes equipped with essential safety features like navigation lights, horns, fire extinguishers and bilge pumps. They also have helm stations with gauges and controls for key systems.

Other must-have features depend on your boating style. For watersports, look for models with towing eyes and wakeboard towers. Anglers will want features like live wells, rod holders and fish finders.

    Optional Upgrades

While not necessary, optional features add luxury and convenience. Some popular upgrades are air conditioning, refrigerators, washdown systems, and hardtops on deck boats. You can also upgrade items like stereos and dash screens.

Be sure to consider your needs and boating style as you choose between standard and upgraded features. Splurging on certain luxury features can enhance your time on the water.

Also, make sure you check for current promotions and incentives which could lower the price and give you the best deal available. There are often seasonal sales around boat shows.

    Finding the Right Boat Dealer

Test driving different Bayliner models is the best way to experience the performance differences firsthand. Work with your dealer to find the right balance of speed, acceleration and handling for your needs. Whenever you are ready to see your perfect Bayliner boat in person, find a local boat dealer near you. Your dealer relationship is key for long-term satisfaction and maintenance your Bayliner might need.
