Bayliner boats are great for all occassions from coving and cruising to fishing and water sports.
Deck boats are famously easy to handle for beginners because the hull shape promotes better stability.
If you're planning to boat with family or friends, capacity is probably your top priority. Deck boats deliver!
The first difference between deck boats and other categories is the hull shape.
For example, our Element Series deck boats have a hull shape that makes for less bow rise when planing. The captain has better visibility when getting up to speed, which is ideal if you have less experience at the helm.
In comparison, our DX Series models employ a V-shaped hull and have higher deadrise (the distance between the waterline and the main deck). This results in a drier ride on rough waters while keeping the defining deck boats stability and open layouts.
Deck boats are ideal if you like to entertain thanks to open cockpit layouts and maximized space for storage and seating, with some models acommodating up to 12 people on board.
You might also notice that a deck boat's seating configuration positions passengers along the port and starboard sides facing the center, rather than facing forward. This is perfect if you're envisioning all-day boat parties - think of it like your floating living room!
Our DX models take things to the next level with plush, premium upholstery and tons of built-in cubbies and compartments for bringing along gear like tubes, coolers and skis.
